Each bedroom suite is furnished with impeccable attention to detail, using carefully considered antiques, vintage bric-a-brac and contemporary furniture and art. They are designed to delight by providing great comfort in agreeable surroundings.
The homestead has 4 highly individual bedrooms. Each comes with
- a king-size bed (two bedrooms can be configured as twin singles)
- an en-suite bathroom
- air conditioning
- a wood stove (evening fires are prepared in winter)
All linen, bath towels and swimming towels are provided
Each bedroom has a wi-fi access point
Laundry and ironing are available on request, at an additional cost
A camper cot can be provided by prior arrangement
The 1st bedroom is a large room located at the lower end of the house, with access to a small patio having Karoo veld views. Its bathroom has a shower, bath and separate loo, plus an outside shower with distant mountains views.
The 2nd bedroom is under thatch, with access to its own patio looking out towards the pool. It can be made up as a twin bedroom. It is close to the heart of the house, accessed via a covered stoep. Its bathroom has a copper bath; a shower is found in a bathroom at the end of the stoep.
The 3rd bedroom is also under thatch and also has direct access to its own patio, with good views of the Escarpment. It is close to the heart of the house, accessed via a covered stoep. Its bathroom is simple but delightful, with views and a shower.
The 4th bedroom is a romantic smaller room located towards the upper end of the house, tucked away at the end of the covered stoep, which looks across the courtyard garden towards the pergola terrace. Sash windows provide views of the Escarpment. It can be made up as a twin bedroom. Its bathroom has a shower and separate loo, plus an outside shower.
