At the heart of the homestead is an open plan kitchen / dining room with a large farmhouse table that seats up to 12, lit by a crystal chandelier

The kitchen is fully equipped with modern equipment and amenities, including

  • a freestanding gas hob & electric oven
  • a 4-oven AGA (for use during the colder season)
  • a large fridge / freezer and a smaller wine fridge
  • a Nespresso Vertuo machine, as well as Bialetti Moka express coffee makers
    and coffee plungers
  • a toaster (6 slices), microwave and various small appliances
  • two dishwashers
  • air conditioning

The homestead is supplied with class 1-rated borehole water, suitable for drinking

The kitchen is flanked on either side by a separate scullery and pantry. Beyond these is a small kitchen garden, where you will find seasonal herbs. In addition, an outside storeroom contains a chest freezer for exclusive use by guests, as well as an ice-maker. Ice is provided to guests on arrival.
